Dissemination and Implementation

Finding effective ways to get information about quality participation to the community is an important part of CDPP 2.0. Ensuring a smooth flow of information between the research team and community members is central to producing research that matters to the community. Through our collaborative research approach, we’ve learned that involving community partners early and often throughout the research process enhances the exchange of knowledge between researchers and community members.

Knowledge Cycle

In Aim 4 of our research model, we will evaluate partner-led dissemination strategies across all 7 years of CDPP 2.0. One goal of this research will be to understand our partners’ experience of integrating knowledge translation guidelines into their work, how they use the guidelines, and when this works well. This information will provide us with diverse, innovative and evidence-based knowledge mobilization processes for delivering research in social sciences to communities. Our partners, and CDPP 2.0 as a whole, will gain knowledge to see how we create the most impact with our dissemination activities.
